Prescot & Everton Level 3 Gala

Forty one of our swimmers from Junior A and A Squad achieved 21 Gold, 28 Silver and 20 Bronze medals in what was a fantastic weekend of swimming at Knowsley Cultural Park. Out of the 209 swims that were swam 125 personal best times were achieved along with a number of Lancashire Age Group times most notably from Ben Shiels in the 400m and 200m Individual Medley, James Fazakerley in the 50m and 100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly and Matthew Fazakerley in the 50m Freestyle who all qualified for this level for the first time.

We also had four swimmers making their debuts in individual gala's, Gemma Horscroft, Seraphina Kwok, Ella Su all 9 years old and Josh Newton 10. Gemma, Seraphina and Josh also came away with at least one medal.

The following swimmers had an outstanding weekend swimming personal best times in all the events they entered, Seraphina Kwok (8), Tom Wilde (4), Zoe Bradshaw (4), Ben Shiels (6), Ella Su (2), Erin Jess (8), Gemma Horscroft (3), Gracie Urumov (5), James Fazakerley (7), Joshua Newton (3) and Oliver Horscroft (4).

In the Top Boy competition James Fazakerley came 4th with Matthew Fazakerley finishing 7th. In the Top Girl competition Lily Anna Ireland came 8th.

However, the icing on the cake came when we won the Top Visiting Club Trophy finishing with 476pts, City of Liverpool came second with 464pts and Bebington third with 358pts.
