Lancashire Age Group Championships - Weekend One.

A fantastic first weekend for our swimmers, in the 13 year old age Eric Byrne achieved his first Lancashire medals winning the 50m Butterfly and coming 3rd in the 50m Backstroke with pb's in both and he also made the final of the 100m Free again with a pb.

Holly Barden, in the 14 year old age group, continued her excellent form in 2018 by winning the 100m Free and coming 3rd in the 400m Free both with pb's. In the 15 year old age group Emily Morris made the final of the 100m Breaststroke with a pb and she also pb'ed in the 200m IM and 100m Free. Rebecca Collier pb'ed in the 50m Butterfly as did Sydney King in the 50m Backstroke along with Ruby Owens in the 100m Breaststroke. In the 16 year old age group, Lily Anna Ireland pb'ed in the 100m Breaststroke and in the final agonisingly missed out on a bronze medal by 0.12 of a second.

Alex Keegan made the final of the 50m Butterfly and there was a pb for Jason Rawlins Williams in the 100m Free and finally in the 17 years and over age group Criostai Hayden Callen pb'ed in the 100m Free.
