Happy New Year

As we enter 2021 after what has been a very challenging year, with more ups and downs than a seesaw.  A few thank you are in order.To committee members who after the lockdown negotiated with Councils and Centre Managers to secure training sessions, produce risk assessments and procedures to ensure that our swimmers were safe.To coaches, teachers and helpers who stepped up to take the training sessions and made sure that social distancing was adhered to on pool side and in changing rooms.To the door staff who maintained the one way system, checked that none of those attending had any symptoms or had been sent home from school. Maintained the contact list at each of the venues being used.To all our members, parents, volunteers and  swimmers who have supported us through these difficult times. We will return to a new 'normal' eventually and hope with your continued support Garston Swimming Club can once again thrive.
