Cotswold Open Water Swim

Earlier this month Beth Wain and Tom Barton swam in The Big Cotswold Swim and only went and bumped into an ex Garston swimmer, Sarah Hussey, who was also competing. Tom and Sarah swam the 2 mile course and Beth the 1 mile course.

There were 102 entrants in the 2 mile event with Tom coming first in a time of 40.03, 2 minutes faster than the second placed swimmer. Sarah finished in 35th place in a time of 53.06. In the 1 mile event Beth finished in 65th place out of 112 entrants in a time of 32.01.

Well done to all of you especially Tom who has now swam twice at this event and won on both occasions.
