The 1st round took place on the 1st September with twelve teams competing in two gala's. We swam in gala 1 and although Rachael was happy with the attitude and committment of those who swam it did highlight the lack of strength we have in some age groups. We finished in 5th place with are only winning swims coming from Jame Fazakerley (10) in the 50m Free and Butterfly, Faye Byrne (9) in the 25m Breast and the Boys 11 year old 4 x 50m freestyle relay.

2nd Halton & Runcorn - 195pts

3rd Prescot - 193pts

4th Liverpool Penguin - 165pts

5th Garston -127pts

6th Bootle & North - 114pts

The final result from the second gala was:

1st Southport - 212pts

2nd Crosby - 205pts

3rd Warriors of Warrington - 198pts

4th Hoylake - 175pts

5th Bridgefield - 130pts

6th Everton - 92pts

Round 2 takes place on Sunday 22nd September at Everton Park, Rachael will be in touch with those swimmers selected to swim approximately a week before.
